Its hard to believe a guy named Joey Shithead could change your life. But after seeing DOA in Vancouver B.C. in 1978, I had a little glimpse of how life could be different and way more exciting. Thats why I like to Pogo as much as I like to Twist. Adrenaline overdrive and ice-cream shivers, F#@K YEAH!! Call me an idealist, but shouldnt music give you a rush? I got the biggest charge from hearing "Blitzkreig Bop" by the Ramones for the first time and goddamn if I didnt get the same charge from hearing The Wasters for the first time. I felt like I was flyin on a hit of the same speed The Wasters were singing about. Whew! Hells bells, brothers and sisters, great music is timeless, and can be found in the darnedest places be it 1979 or today. Energy you feel connected, you feel alive. At Chuckie-Boy, every disc is guaranteed to have made at least one of us, or a few dozen of us, or a few thousand of us, jump around and carry on. Thank's for visiting... this rockin' good music is a pleasure to share with friends old and new. - Cheers, Chuck |
