I, BRAINEATER I think this artist's name is Jim, and his band I, Braineater were one of Vancouver's strangest. Best friggin' band-art around! Here, they came to the renowned Graven Image Gallery---played the dirt-floor basement room where The U-MEN, Red Masque, and Baba Yaga practiced. A fun, virtually indestructible place, hosted by Larry Reid, a one-man Culture-Bomb and Seattle arts institution. This was one of the few places around at the time where you could see a show like this. Graven Image, July 21, 1981.
